Home Chefs like you agree, that this banana bread is as good as it gets. Quick, easy to make and delicious. We recommend stirring in crunchy nuts, skip the chocolate, unless of course, you want the chocolate. That works too!
Here's all you do: Blend 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 cup of softened butter, or margarine, 1/2 cup of vegetable oil and 3 very ripe bananas into mix (Optional: 1/2 cup walnuts). Evenly pour mixture into two well greased 4x8 loaf pans, and bake at 350 F for 60 to 70 minutes. Let bread cool in pans for 10 minutes, remove and let set for additional 1/2 hour before serving. Banana bread can be wrapped in kitchen plastic or tin foil and stored at room temperature between servings.
For Banana Pineapple Bread: Use only 1 1/2 ripe bananas and add 1 - 21oz can of drained crushed pineapple and 2 TBS(or to taste) each of Coconut flakes and almond slivers. It will be one of the most delicious breads you have ever tasted.
