People will think you worked hours preparing & mixing potato flakes, tomato, onion, carrots, bacon bits, chicken skin bits, & brown rice. Nope, we did it for you and put it in the package.
Here's all you do: In a large pot, whisk soup mixture into 6 cups of water until cream base dissolves. Bring to a boil and cook uncovered for 30 minutes. Stir during cooking to avoid overflow.
Two Options very popular at our tasting events are, 1) add 12 oz of precooked smoked beef Keilbosi with about 5 minutes left in the simmer, and 2) see below for how to make Philly Cheeseburger Stew! To make it a delicious scoop-chip dip add 1 less cup of water!
Another popular option is to add 1 pkg of frozen steamable chopped broccoli and 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
Another option for more cheesy is to add 14oz of velveeta cheese and an additional 1 1/2 cups of water.
If you want the Valveeta/Cheese Whiz Taste but with real cheese do the following:
1 cup evaporated milk - bring to simmer in saucepan ( not a boil)
In Food Processor, combine 2 - 3 cups (depending on your preference) of mild or sharp cheddar cheese, with 2 0z. of cream cheese, 1/2 tsp dry mustard & 1/4 tsp of salt.
Add the simmering evaporated milk and process until smooth.
With about 5 minutes left in the cooking, stir in the mixture.
Optional, but very good smokey flavor, add 1TBs of Strawberrytree Farms Serious Steak Seasoning.
For Philly Cheeseburger Stew - with about 5 minutes to go, just add the above homemade Philly Cheese Taste with cheddar, plus 1 - 1 1/2 lbs of browned ground beef (amount determined by your taste), and 2 TBs of Worcestershire Sauce. SHARE THE LOVE!
